Mendenhall Responds to Harrison’s Comments

The comments that James Harrison made about Roger Goodell, the Patriots and a couple Steelers hit like wildfire on Wednesday, and it hasn’t taken long for one of his teammates to respond.

Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall has fired back at Harrison about being called a “fumble machine.” Wednesday morning Mendenhall posted the following comment about Harrison on his Twitter account, which he claimed also he is shutting down.

And lastly, I dont have a problem with what @jharrison9292 said because I know him.

Mendnehall wasn’t the only one to speak back to Harrison, as Steelers president Art Rooney II released a statement saying: “I have not yet seen the article in Men’s Journal nor have I spoken to James Harrison about his comments. We will discuss the situation at the appropriate time, when permitted once the labor situation is resolved.”
