Mendenhall and Redmen Both Miss Practice; Both May Sit Sunday vs Cincinnati

The Steelers may have to air it out vs the Bengals on Sunday night, as a couple of their top running backs were laid up again today instead of being out on the practice field.

Both Rashard Mendenhall (left Achilles) and Isaac Redman (right ankle) did not practice today, and reports are there’s a good chance that both will not play vs Cincy Sunday.

It’s the second straight day that Mendenhall has sat, and if he does so again tomorrow, he won’t go. The Steelers are down to Jonathan Dwyer, Chris Rainey and Baron Batch in their backfield.

Despite the Bengals not being good vs the run, the Steelers may look to have Ben Roethlisberger throw it 50 times in the Queen City to try and get a huge “W” for the black and gold.
