Former Steeler and Raven cornerback and safety Rod Woodson has given his choice for Sunday’s AFC Title game in Pittsburgh – the Steelers. Woodson gave his prediciton today, and said that he’ll be in the Steel City for the game on behalf of the Steelers.

Two former Steelers are among those that are finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The two players are cornerback Rod Woodson and center Dermontti Dawson. The Class of 2009 will be announced at a press conference at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, at the Super Bowl media center.

Steelers linebacker James Harrison got rewarded today for his record breaking season, as he was named by the AP as the NFL Defensive Player of the Year. The linebacker had a career-high 16 sacks, set a team record, and led the NFL with a career-high seven forced fumbles.
