Former Broadcaster Cope Still Hospitalized

Retired Steelers broadcaster Myron Cope is still hospitalized after being admitted in November.  According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Cope, 78, has battled various ailments the past year including recurring cases of pneumonia.  Cope retired as the Steelers color analyst prior to the 2005 season.  Cope spent 35-years as the Steelers color man and will always be known for inventing “The Terrible Towel”.

    God bless Myron Cope!! All Steeler fans are hoping for a speedy recovery. When I watch the VHS tapes of the 1970’s games, I cant wait to hear Myrons voice call the games. Rizzuto,Prince,Scully,Cope.. Legends!!!
