SteelersGab Number 2 on Our List of the Biggest Steelers Rivals of All-Time

Steelers Ravens Football
They’re the teams that Steelers fans have grown to hate over the years. When you see these teams on the schedule, your blood starts to boil just a little bit more, and you start counting the days till those games. Why of course it’s the rivals of the Steelers that we’re talking about, and here we go with the teams top 10 all-time rivals. Today we continue with number 2:

2. Baltimore Ravens – Now some may say that the Ravens should be combined with the Browns, but they really are considered two totally different franchises. The Ravens have been a thorn in the Steelers side for the past 13 seasons, and these matchups are always the most hard-hitting of the season. The three games in 2008 took on a whole new meaning when the Steelers won by three in OT in the first matchup, four on a controversial ending in the second battle, and then by nine in the AFC Title game in January at Heinz Field. As Mike Tomlin told Ravens WR Derrick Mason after the AFC Title game – “I love these matchups, you guys bring out the best in us.” He’s right, and when these two bitter rivals meet, there is always some teeth missing from a few players afterwards. The Steelers lead the series following the 09 games 19-11.
