Veteran CB Anthony Madison Released

Veteran cornerback Anthony Madison has told Scout.com via text message that he’s been released by the Steelers, and that the move was a surprise to him. The fourth-year player appeared in all 16 regular season games for the World Champions last year and led the team with 25 special teams tackles. He then stepped up during the postseason as well, leading the team with seven special teams tackles during their three-game run for the Lombardi Trophy.
