Big Ben Beef Jerky No More

If you were a fan of Ben Roethlisberger’s beef jerky, better stock up, as the product has been discontinued by the company that was making it:

PLB Sports, the Robinson-based producer of sports-branded specialty items, terminated its contract with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Tuesday, the quarterback’s first endorsement going back to his rookie season.

“We have taken the product off the website, we have stopped production of the product, and have no plans to reinstate,” president Ty Ballou said.

To be honest, I never even had heard of it, and I wouldn’t feel bad for Ben, I am sure he’s not going to go poor because he won’t make money off dried meat.

Matt Loede has been in the sports media for over 16 years, with experience covering the MLB, NBA, and NFL. On Sunday’s during football season, you can hear Matt on national networks like Fox Sports Radio, Associated Press, and others. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, Matt studies and talks football inside and out, and is anxious to share his thoughts and comments with readers on a daily basis.

Wish I could try it. My diet is kosher. I bought kosher beef jerky before and they were pretty good. KosherBeefJerky.com – do they all taste the same?
