Reports say Steelers trying to get a long term deal done with K Jeff Reed

According to reports, the Steelers are trying to work out a long-term deal with PK Jeff Reed. Because Reed was slapped with the franchise tag, the Steelers have until July 15 to work out something long-term, or his one-year tender of $2.814 million will take effect. If a long-term deal is reached, the Steelers then will be able to re-use the franchise tag next year.
