On the heels of the earlier report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport concerning Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers President Art Rooney II released a statement on the teams website concerning the quarterback.
Contrary to erroneous reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers have not explored trading quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and have no plans to do so.
Rapoport, in obvious panic mode over a bogus report, is trying his best to go back and say that what he reported isn’t exactly what he said and so forth.
