20. Ernie Stautner Defensive Tackle 1950 to 1963

The team retired the #70 for Stautner, and he dominated in his 13 seasons, making the Pro Bowl 9 times and was an All-Pro 10 times. He was elected to the Steelers 50th anniversary team in 1982, and was elected posthumously by the Pittsburgh Steeler fans to the Steelers 75th Anniversary All-Time Team in November 2007. In 173 games he recovered 23 fumbles and recorded three safeties.
