Family For Life and Opponents For One Day

Robert Geathers and Clifton Geathers will be on opposite sidelines this Sunday.  Both are big men looking to make the play that changes the game sunday.

Robert Geathers according to stats has been more productive then his younger brother Clifton. Geathers has recorded 304 tackles, 33 sacks,15 pass deflections,2 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles, and one touchdown.  Geathers has been a regular starter at defensive since the 2005-2006 season.  Geathers is known for creating havoc on the quarterback as he will look to continue that this sunday against Ben Roethlisberger.  Geathers at 6’3″ 280 pounds will reply on his quickness to win one on one battles against the Steelers offensive tackles.

Clifton Geathers is a mountain ofva man at 6’8″ 325 pounds.  Geathers has bounced around the league but hopefully has found a home with the Steelers. With his size Geathers hopefully can provide instant depth behind starters Stephon Tuitt, and Cameron Heyward. Geathers only has one sack in his NFL career, but he will have many chances to increase on his sack total. Both of the Geathers brothers are not considered to be star players, but both players will be counted on to provide quality snaps going forward.
