Roethlisberger Taking Shoulder Injury Hour by Hour

Pittsburgh Steelers v Baltimore Ravens

Today is the first day Ben Roethlisberger will truly get to try out his ailing shoulder and it could go a long way in telling us if he’s really going to be able to go Sunday in Denver.

The quarterback spoke to the media on Wednesday, an said that he would basically see what he can do, and even if he can’t throw the ball downfield much, he will work on handoffs and mental reps.

If things go well today for Roethlisberger it’s expected that he will increase his activity as the week goes on. Knowing Ben’s ability to play in pain, it would seem almost a surprise at this point if he doesn’t play.

Matt Loede has been in the sports media for over 16 years, with experience covering the MLB, NBA, and NFL. On Sunday’s during football season, you can hear Matt on national networks like Fox Sports Radio, Associated Press, and others. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, Matt studies and talks football inside and out, and is anxious to share his thoughts and comments with readers on a daily basis.
