Lets be honest , and call this for what it is . The Steelers had no buisness winning this game , but somehow they did . If not for a botched placekick with the laces facing the kicker , the Steelers lose this game and they are a 3-5 football team . The Colts were minus their starting quarterback , their starting center , and T.Y. Hilton , their pro bowl receiver and still the Steelers had no answers on how to stop them . On offense , the Steelers are not even average . They have no downfield passing game whatsoever . We have better than average receivers but Randy Fitchner wont let Rudolph throw the football downfield . He either doesnt trust him or hes trying to simplify a gameplan that is already about as simple as it gets . Bottom line , yes the Steelers got the win and thats all that matters but is theyre reason for excitement ? Im sorry , I just dont see it . The Steelers at the end of the season are an 8-8 football team at best .
