Is 4-0 in the Cards for the Steelers?
As the week moved along, I became more and more confident about the Steelers chances of winning in Arizona. Now I am not pulling a Joey Porter like he did in this week vs the Raiders in Miami, but I am now totally under the mindset that come Sunday evening the Steelers will be 4-0. […]

As was expected for all of this week, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, who did not practice at all yesterday, will not play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, according to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. Nate Washington will probably replace Ward at flanker with Cedric Wilson in the slot.
This is only the fourth […]

Don’t shoot - my hands are in the air, I’m shaking in my boots, and I have the white flag ready to go. The Pittsburgh media is taking everyone hostage and making them concerned about the Arizona Cardinals.
There are so many “soap operas,” as WTAE’s Guy Junker put it on Wednesday’s 6 p.m. news, in […]

Ward was injured while being the intended receiver […]

The Steelers look like they might be dealing with their first big injury of the 07 season, as wide out Hines Ward suffered what was called a bone bruise in his leg during Sunday’s pounding of the 49′ers. The injury took place in the third quarter when he was hit hard on a play […]
Posted by Matt Loede on Sep 24 2007Special Start Leads Steelers to 37-16 Win over 9′ers
The last time the Steelers were 3-0, it was the first year of head coach Bill Cowher. 15 years later, not much has changed with a new head coach. Mike Tomlin has this Black and Gold playing at a high level right now, as Sunday they ran the San Francisco 49′ers out of town, pounding […]
Posted by Matt Loede on Sep 23 200749′ers Toughest Test so Far for Steelers
While there should be concern about the 0-2 49′ers coming into Hinez Field on Sunday, the Steelers have the obvious advantages in many of the matchups on the field, and by the final gun Sunday the team should be 3-0. The Steelers will have to be careful to keep with the things that got […]
