In last night’s 35-7 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger not only led his team to victory but he set some milestones along the way:
- He needed only two quarters to tie former Steeler great Terry Bradshaw and Mark Malone’s team record for touchdown passes in a game (5).
- Roethlisberger’s first TD pass gave him at least 1 TD pass in 13 consecutive games, breaking the team record held by Bradshaw.
In addition, his 5 TD passes in the first half of the game gave him 72 for his young career, eclipsing former Steeler QB Kordell Stewart and into second place among Steeler QB’s. Roethlisberger also surpassed Bubby Brister into fourth place in career passing yardage.
