A Couple of Steelers Get Bonus Money for 2008

*Sep 08 - 00:05*
Two Steelers earned some big-time bonus money in 2008, as both Darnell Stapleton and Willie Colon ranked among the top 25 players in incentive money earned for last season.

Stapleton ranked ninth, as he pulled in an extra $311,220 after starting the final 15 games at right guard for the Steelers due to injury. Colon ranked 16th. He earned $267,442 in incentives after starting every game at right tackle for the second straight season.

Both players should be back as starters on the O-line in 2009, and this time around their base pay will be more, as Colon got a new deal, and Stapleton’s base pay should be more than last season.
