Top 10 Steelers Draft Picks Not Taken In The First Round

New Orleans Saints v Pittsburgh Steelers

3. John Stallworth – Drafted in 1974 in the 4th round with the 82nd pick. Another part of the 1974 draft class lands on our list. Stallworth completed the 1-2 punch at receiver for the Steelers, along with Lynn Swann. Chuck Noll loved Stallworth, so much so the Steelers “lost” his game film during the draft process. John played from 1974-1987 with the Steelers, ending his career the leader in receptions yards and touchdowns, before Hines Ward broke them. Stallworth played in 165 games for the Steelers, starting 144. He played in 18 playoff games, starting 12. He was finally elected to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in 2002.
