Steelers Lose Shazier to Scary Injury, Overcome Bengals 23-20 to Move to 10-2

3. The B’s Shine

The Steelers ‘Killer B’s’ of Le’Veon Bell, Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown all led the way to the Steelers scoring 20 second half points, and when a big play was needed, it was one of, or a combo of these players getting it done.

After a slow start Big Ben was 24-for-40 for 290 with two touchdowns and a pick. Bell was the star on offense, rushing for 76 yards, but pulling in a team high 102 yards through the air, catching five passes including a big TD that got the Steelers within 17-10.

Brown, who did nothing this week to make people think he would play, pulled in 8 catches for 101 yards and tied the game with a great catch on a play where he was hit high and the Bengals were assessed a 15-yard penalty which helped on the kickoff in what was the final Bengals offensive drive.

The plays that got the team their first points at the end of the half also were big, as Bell made a great catch and run after a pass to the flat, and Ben looked deep for Brown and he got a flag deep in Bengals territory with five seconds left in the half to set up the easy Chris Boswell field goal.

When this team gets going they are sure fun to watch.

Jay , you are one insensitive , heartless poor excuse for a human being . The Steelers , lost one of their best players on their roster to what could be not only a career ending injury , but a life changing injury for him and his family . Ryan Shazier , is a young player who like most players doesnt always play with proper technique . That changes with age and experience . However , to say he brought it on himself with no regard for the mans life , you’re an idiot and like I said before , you have no buisness being on this site . Youre not a fan of the team or the players , so why the hell are you here ? I bet if that was a member of your very own family laying their on the ground unable to feel their legs due to a major injury , your response wouldnt be , ole well , they brought it on theirselves . Then again , with the way you act on this site , you probably would .
