1. Win the Up Front Battle
The Steelers key to success in the first win was their ability to run the ball, as Le’Veon Bell ran for 144 yards. That day belonged to the Steelers O-line, as well as Bell and his patient style of running.
Since that first win over the Ravens, Bell is averaging 147 yards from scrimmage and leads the NFL in that category with 1,559 on the season.
He’s been the key to success the last two times the Steelers and Ravens have played at Heinz Field, running for 122 yards and 129 yards in his last two home games against Baltimore.
It won’t be easy for Bell to have a big game though, as the the Ravens over their last five games they have not allowed more than 78 yards on the ground, and they will have their sights set on keeping Bell in check.
The Steelers O-line having a big night will be important in this divisional matchup.
