Steelers Stop the Ravens 23-16 for Fourth Straight Win; Move to 5-2-1

4. Success When It Counted

The Steelers Sunday were a combined 11-for-17 between third and fourth downs, going 10-for-16 on third downs, and 1-for-1 on fourth down.

Not only did the black and gold do a great job with third and fourth down, they also held the Ravens to just 4-for-12 on third downs, and 0-for-1 on fourth downs.

It was a complete turnaround from the opener when the Ravens had their way with the Steelers in that department, but this time around not only did the Steelers create third downs that they could manage with short yardage situations, but also they seemed to have an answer every time the Ravens ran different packages at them.

Ben was very good throwing the ball on third downs, and also having a huge weapon in James Conner was a factor as well.
