Harriosn Named Steelers MVP

Linebacker James Harrison is the Most Valuable Player on the Steelers as chosen by his teammates.  Harrison replaced Joey Porter as the right outside linebacker and has recorded 73-tackles, 8.5-sacks and six forced fumbles through 15-games.  Harrison had a monster night the first time the Steelers faced the Baltimore Ravens on November 5 when he made nine tackles, 3.5-sacks, one interception, three forced fumbles and one recovered fumble.

Speaking of the Ravens, the Steelers began preparations for Baltimore yesterday with practice on the South Side.  Charlie Batch took all the snaps at quarterback with Ben Roethlisberger throwing on the side and resting his ankle.  Clint Kriewaldt did not practice because of a neck injury.  Marvell Smith did not practice because of his bad back.  Wide Receiver Willie Reid did not practice as well because of a shoulder injury.
