The 4th preseason game is usually a snore-fest, and tonight vs the Panthers should be no exception, as both teams simply want to get out of Heinz Field without any major injuries. There is one thing to look for from the Steelers standpoint, and that is the 4th WR spot. The battle remains open between rookie Limas Sweed, Dallas Baker and Willie Reid. “Those guys have had good moments and they have had moments that have not been as good,” coach Mike Tomlin said. “This is a hotly contested battle, and one that may be waged (tonight) and might ultimately decide how those spots unfold.” The Steelers are expected to keep at least five receivers.
