Halftime Thoughts

Exactly what I thought – a bloodbath. The Ravens have the only score of the game, this after a 61-yard pass play on third and 15, and then after a broken coverage on third down and long that allowed Anquan Boldin to run around in the end zone wide open.

The offense for the Steelers started to find a bit of a rhythm in the late part of the half, and that gives hope for the second half. They seemed to be able to pass the ball, and even with Ben Roethlisberger not being close to 100 percent, he looked better as the half went on.

The Steelers did waste great field position early in the game, but they get the ball to start the second half, and need to establish something to get back in the game. Let’s hope they can find themselves on both sides of the ball, as I think 10-14 points can win this game.

Ben Roethlisberger 9-19 for 92 yards, sacked twice, one pick, QB rating of 39.8
Rashard Mendenhall 8 rushes for 27 yards
David Johnson 2 catches for 31 yards
