First Quarter Thoughts: Steelers On Pace to Win 40-0

While everyone will point to the 81-yard touchdown from Ben Roethlisberger to Mike Wallace, I love the shot NBC did of Ben giving a little “look” to Wallace, basically telling him “it’s coming to you” just before the snap.

This game is shaping up to be a rout, as the defense is already beating up the Colts, and this should be over by halftime from all account. They outgained Indy 178 to 55 in the first quarter, and I can’t see Indy matching the Steelers speed on defense.

As far as Roethlisberger goes, the O-line has done a nice job to this point making sure he doesn’t get a lot of hits, even though it looks like they have tried to blitz him a couple times. As for the run game, you will see it a lot more if the Steelers build up a 17 or 24-0 lead.

Not much more can be said, you should be able to have a big night (you already are) if you have Ben, Wallace, or the Steelers D on your fantasy team. Enjoy!

Everyone else in the NFL, EVERYONE is drafting tackles in the first round! We ignore this glaring weakness as if to say to the rest of the league in an arrogant sort of way, “We’re better than everyone else, we don’t need to protect the QB, we’ll go without primo pass protection!” and in essence, an absolute garbage product, the offensive line, has literally been on the field since 2006! FIVE FUCKING years of suck play form the o-line…anything the Steelers have won since 2005 has been in spite of, not because of, our o-line: Pouncey, Scott, Kemo, Legursky, and Gilbert- this is to you guys, I swear if I were 6’8″ and 350 I would personally kick all of your asses with my bare hands for sucking so bad! But I’m not so I won’t but thank the god of suck offensive linemen that I’m not or that someone isn’t because all of you need your asses whooped on principle!

Wow, okay so hide behind my palindrome! You a puss, dude! Instead of looking at me and my comments, why don’t you look at the sad state of affairs which is this offense! Don’t be such a sycophantic yinzer for your Steelers! And it’s not just a game, it’s a way of life for many. People who opine that it’s just a game make me wonder why are you on a blog site?! Because a blog is for people who care and have passion and want/need to vent; if it’s just a game, you don’t need to vent or have passion! Your sensibilities were obviously affected by my remarks which caused you to hide behind a palindrome like a coward and lash out behind the ubiquitous excuse of, “It’s just a game!” Save your pseudo objectivity for the ballet; they need more vaginas like yourself!

Correction: technically not a palindrome because of the spelling but used and referred to because of the implied meaning, me, is the same forwards and backwards.

It’s a Mac actually: equivocate, tergiversate, be evasive, be noncommittal, sidestep the issue, prevaricate, quibble, hedge, waffle, beat around the bush, hem and haw; informal duck the question, sit on the fence, shilly-shally!

    And You’re still a puss!
