Top 10 Favorite Memories of the 2015 Steelers Season

3. A Week 17 Miracle to Reach the Playoffs

After the Steelers fell to the Ravens in week 16, and the Jets beat New England, many felt the 2015 season was over. The Steelers needed to beat the Browns in Cleveland (no problem), but the Jets needed to lose to a banged up Bills team in Buffalo. The wish was granted. Thanks to an awful outing by Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, and an inspired game plan by Bills coach Rex Ryan against his old team, the Bills knocked out the Jets and allowed the Steelers reach the playoffs as the sixth seed. The Steelers celebrated knowing they would have round three against the Bengals, while the Jets were just…well, the Jets.

2. A 17-point Home Comeback to Beat the Broncos

It was the final home game of the year for the Steelers, and they played like they wanted to go golfing early in the offseason. They couldn’t stop Brock Osweiler in the first half, nor former wide out Emmanuel Sanders, as the Broncos scored on four straight drives to go up 27-10, and then 27-13 at halftime. Suddenly as bad as the Steelers D was in the first half, it was just a 180 in the second half, as they pressured Osweiler and Sanders did next to nothing as the Steelers offense got on track, outscoring Denver 21-0 in the final 30 minutes for a 34-27 win.

1. The Euphoria of Beating the Bengals in the AFC Wild Card Game

The moment that the clock struck 0:00 in Cincinnati in the AFC Wild Card Game is a moment that is going for forever be hard to top for the Steelers and their fans. The black and gold appeared to be done after Landry Jones threw an interception to Vontaze Burfict deep in Steelers territory in the final two minutes with the Steelers down 16-15. Instead, a Ryan Shazier strip of Jeremy Hill gave the Steelers a shot, and basically you know the rest. Ben Roethlisberger driving the team downfield with a bad shoulder, two 15-yard penalties on the Bengals, and a perfect kick by Chris Boswell was enough to keep the Steelers playing while the Bengals were left with maybe the worst loss in franchise history. Does it get any better than that?
