Steelers Play Scrooge in Houston in Beat Down of Texans; One Hurdle Remains Before Playoffs

1. TCB

After the massive letdown of having a win stolen from them last week on a bogus call from an official, the Steelers didn’t let that distract them from coming to Houston on the biggest holiday of the year, and laying waste to a Texans team who clearly is getting ready for the offseason.

In all three phases of the game they played well, from the offense getting off to a quick start, the defense never letting the Texans do much at all, to the special teams getting a boost from the punt return game of Eli Rogers who was great with returns of 20 and 27 yards.

After the heart attack of the Christmas Day saga last season as the Ravens nearly stole the AFC North from the Steelers, it was great to see a focused bunch come out and do what they should have done, that is beat a Houston team without a shadow of a doubt and get out of dodge with a win with no injury issues.
