Let the NFL Free Agency Madness Begin!

And away we go!

One of the most fun times of the year for a NFL fan will kick off at 4pm tomorrow as Free Agency will officially start.

Of course everyone will keep their eyes on the Steelers roster as far as where their free agents will end up – but there’s 31 other teams that will also be looking to make moves.

For the next few days, we will continue to update this post with news and moves. Today we start with what we know, as the rumor mill keeps going, and going, and going….

7:50pm – The Browns on Monday took measures to keep safety Tashaun Gipson and some of their other young free agents.

7:49pm – 30-year-old WR Will Blackmon, who was released by the Jaguars two weeks ago, is headed back to Seattle.

7:47pm – The Rams have released offensive tackle Jake Long and center Scott Wells.

12:05pm – The busy Dolphins are reportedly going to cut former Pro Bowl punter Brandon Fields. He was slated to make over $7 mil this season.

11:45am – The Jaguars are expected to sign the former Cowboys offensive tackle Jermey Parnell to a five-year, $32 million deal.

11:44am – The Colts are going to re-sign veteran cornerback Darius Butler, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports.

11:41am – Wide out Ted Ginn Jr. is going to sign with the Carolina Panthers

11:38am – Reports say that 49’ers LB Patrick Willis is retiring

The Houston Texans will reportedly add Brian Hoyer on a three-year deal to compete with Ryan Mallett. Hoyer beat the Steelers last season in Cleveland.

Recently released Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk is visiting with the Cincinnati Bengals today.

Pernell McPhee reportedly has a deal in place with the Chicago Bears, leaving the rival Ravens.

Oakland will ink Rodney Hudson to play center.

Jerry Hughes will stay with the Bill, signing a five-year, $45 million deal.

Safety Devin McCourty is expected to return to New England.

Former Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin will reportedly head back to his home state as he’s planning to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs for a reported $11 mil a season.

Mark Sanchez is staying with the Eagles, inking a deal for $16 million for two-years.

CB Byron Maxwell and the Eagles have reportedly agreed to a five-year, $54 million contract.

The Jaguars are said to be the favorite for TE Julius Thomas.

LB Sean Weatherspoon is a free agent target for the Saints.

The Colts signed veteran guard Todd Herremans to a one-year deal.

The Bucs are looking at right tackle Bryan Bulaga, who reportedly wants a deal worth around $7 million.

WR Randall Cobb is staying with Green Bay.

    However, there is no Free Agency Madness in Pittsburgh. The Steelers wisely re-signed Moats to address their paucity of talent at OLB and re-signed Spaeth because the 2015 draft class lacks a TE who is any better. Both are bargains. We may add a free agent or two before the draft, but we aren’t going to empty the vault to do it. So far, Mr. Colbert is acting quite sane.
